OVERVIEW
During the 2013-14 school year, Legion Park Elementary began to embark upon a new method for dealing with school-wide behavior. The Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports Team worked with the school administration and faculty to develop a research based program that benefits the entire school atmosphere.
During the school year, The PBIS Team and its supporters developed an assortment of behavioral expectations based on the adopted acronym R.O.A.R. for both teachers and students. R.O.A.R. stands for Respect, Obedience, Achievement, and Responsibility. All expectations meet the needs of our school community and are all teachable, acknowledgeable, and observable.
